Walking along the coast at Emmerlev Klev

I made a trip to the area were I grew up and visited a beach I used to hang out as a teen. I was strolling along the beach and discovered and collected fascinating plants. Next day I tried to make cyanotypes from my findings.

Anna Atkins (1799 - 1871), a British botanist and photographer inspired me to do this little walking project. In 1843, she published „Photographs of British Algae: Cyanotype Impressons“, which was considered the first book illustrated with photographic images.
